The idea for this shop came from a Word in Eucharistic adoration and years spent in service to the community coordinating care. Many people struggle to cover basic needs and lift themselves out of poverty. Jesus told the rich young man to sell what you have and give to the poor. The Promise of Mercy Shop is the helping hand to respond to that command to be able to follow Him.
